Hi, I'm Ismail. Ismo for short. My art is an extension of that identity.
I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, always mixed with my love for anime. But I never knew how to put anime on my wall without it looking like a typical "in the face" anime piece. I wanted pieces that felt contemporary and understated. Art I could live with every day, where the anime influence reveals itself only to those who pause and look a little closer.
Then I discovered Werner Bronkhorst, and everything clicked. His minimal, textured style showed me exactly what anime could look like in a clean, modern way.
So I started creating my own fusion of modern design and anime: raised lines, simple shapes, tiny characters minimal but full of personality.
